2 ingredient Nutella Mousse is a winner. Or add a few more ingredients & make a gorgeous, show-stopping Nutella Mousse cake or pie that will definitely impress!

Let me just say that I was beyond excited when I made this awesome Nutella Mousse.  It takes all of five minutes (minus chill time) and yet it turns out a creamy, delicious Nutella Mousse with endless possibilities.

Best Nutella Mousse Recipe

What is Mousse?

Mousse originated in the 18th century in France, where the word mousse translates as “foam.” At its most basic mousse is made by made by folding aerators into a base to create a “foam”. These aerators can be whipped cream, meringue, pâte à bombe, or a combination. The base can be many things including Nutella, chocolate, fruit curd, custard and much more.

Why Make These Recipes

This one is a major winner, folks.  And who doesn’t love Nutella hazelnut spread?  This Nutella Mousse is right up there with my other Nutella favorite – Nutella Hot Chocolate – but I have to admit that I’m torn over which one I love most.  Possibly this one since it’s something that, with a few minor tweaks, you could actually serve at the end of a nice holiday meal or dinner party.

I made Nutella Mousse Cake for a dinner party and it was a showstopper! It’s so simple that no one would believe it when I told them.

Creamy, sweet Nutella Pie has whipped cream on top and a thick Oreo cookie crust. A delicious combination of chocolate and Nutella flavors.

All these recipes are beyond easy to make, no baking is required and they’re perfect for a last minute dessert idea or when you’re feeling too lazy to cook but still want to impress.

Cut the store-bought pound cake in half to get the circles which will make three cakes. Double the Nutella Mousse recipe, too (one cup Nutella and one cup whipping cream) and it will be about perfect. Any extra can just be cut up and layered the same way!

So simple yet so impressive!

How to Make Nutella Mousse Pie

Triple the ingredients (1 1/2cups Nutella/1 1/2 cups whipping cream) and using a store-bought Oreo Pie Crust pour the mousse filling into the pie crust. Cover loosely and chill until just before serving.

For garnishment try adding chocolate shavings, berries or other delicious toppings.
