the candy cake

Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not much of a cake baker. I’m really not into making “fancy” cakes of any kind. Too putsy and time consuming, when all I want to do is eat!

refreshing strawberry limeade

24 limes.  That’s how many limes lost their juicy little lives in the lime-juice bath massacre in my kitchen.  The strawberries were innocent bystanders, but they were necessary casualties.  (the carnage) ———>
Limeade seems to be …

wicked ice cream balls

It’s 32 degrees outside.  I have three layers of clothing covering my body and there’s a fire burning in the fireplace in an attempt to save us all from a frozen death.  I swear I …
