Thanks for visiting! No thanks necessary…I've adored your site since my first visit and promoting you on RS was always such a pleasure. I was lucky to have you as a loyal contributor, and I'm thrilled you stopped by!
Wonderful to meet you and Alan on the 4th. Enjoyed our discussion.
Look forward to the barbeque we discussed. I have passed along your blog info to some folks that I know, will enjoy checking out the site in the future.
Hi Varun! We loved your ribs…so delicious!! Can't wait to swing in and pick up some more. I'll definitely be mentioning you in an upcoming rib post I'm doing in August. :-)
Hi Kristy… Your website is gorgeous and your updated photo is beautiful. I'll be on the road and wish I could take you and your recipes along with me. I didn't realize you designed websites too!! That's awesome, KB!! Love, Susan
Hi Susan!! Thanks so much, great to hear from you! I do design websites but I'm now venturing more into the "personal chef" side of things. It's more in line with my passions, and there's nothing like cooking food for someone and knowing that because of your hard work, they're eating healthier and enjoying their week just a bit more! Enjoy your time on the road. I hope you're well!
Hi Barb, That's actually something that I'm working on. Because I do all my own web design (and have had to teach myself how to do it), it sometimes takes me a bit longer to figure things out. That's the very next thing to go up though – promise! You should see it within the next few weeks, definitely no later than the end of November.
Have a great weekend,
Kristy
Found one that looks awesome and a little different. It's from Fine Cooking (my favorite): http://www.finecooking.com/recipes/parmesan-crust…
If you can't get access to the recipe let me know and I'll print and email it to you (some require a membership).
When I peek in on your website, I always think of Grandma. She would sooooo love this and be so proud of you! :) She would have enjoyed to sharing some of her amazing recipes!
Oh, Carrie…what a sweet comment. Makes me tear up thinking about Grandma…miss her so much! I hadn't thought about how she would have loved this, but you're right – thanks. Miss and love you tons!!
Hi Kristy,
I'm Tiffany, the DC Fud gal from the Macy's Food Truck. I *love* your blog, and I can't wait to try out some of the recipes here. It was great to meet you, and good luck moving forward.
Hey Kristy! It's Fiona from the BFF night at Cookology class.. I am enjoying reading through your blog on this stormy day. I can't wait to start trying some recipes!
Fiona!! It was so fun to meet you the other night. It was such a great time and everyone was so much fun to chat with. I'm glad we ended up next to each other so we could really chat. Thanks for visiting my site & let's plan another BFF night sometime!
Hi Kristy!! Wow!! Congratulations to YOU!! :) Found you by accident and caught up on your amazing career! I look forward to trying out some of your yummy recipes and keeping in touch with your adventures! LOVE your blog :) PS ~ You may remember me as "Deborah" from ages ago at a past career. You were my super sweet boss and I am so happy to see your dreams come true!!
DEB!! I am so thrilled that you came across my site. Of course I remember you! It took me a minute (you're right, the "Debbie" threw me off) but I recognized the name immediately. I absolutely loved being your boss; you were a fabulous employee! Gosh, that seems like a lifetime ago. The last time I saw you, I didn't cook and my beach apartment in Newport didn't even have a kitchen sink! Too funny. Miss you to pieces and hope everything with you is great! xoxo
Oooo so happy to have found this site. Loved your blog about photographing food, and I must say your pics are mouthwatering. I have several books that I love but hardly touch because the pics are a little out of focus and are almost dizzying. I used to take sports pics for a local paper, so you would think that food pics would be easier. No so, even though your target is not moving it is almost 3-D and that is what has to be captured. If everyone wants to eat it, well you have succeeded. Love your Blog, I think you are doing everything right, if you are enjoying it also.
Janet, you have officially set the tone for my day today! I just rolled out of bed, grabbed my coffee and bleary-eyed began to sift through comments. Thank you so much; I’m thrilled to hear you’re enjoying my site and that you like my photos! I am most definitely enjoying it, especially when I get to connect with positive people like you. xo
Annie (poor Annie, married to me for 30 years now) just shared one of your recipes on her website/fb page. So, I had to come see about you. I really like your site darlin’ you’re like a letter from home. Peace, dave
Thanks so much, Michael! I just went to your blog, too, and am already madly in love! “Beans & Cornbread” is an amazing, well-written story and I can’t wait to read more!
Hi Lisa, Thanks so much for taking the time to let me know! I really appreciate it! You’ll love that stew; it’s one of my favorites. I make it often in the colder months and even sometimes when it’s hot :-)
