The Food Monster is a friend of mine, I discovered your site through his blog. This is definitely one of the best looking blogs with one of the best layouts I’ve seen. I was amazed when I saw you only started it in January. I recently started my own cooking journal blog, http://www.iHateWheat.com – I have Celiac Disease and can’t eat wheat . I haven’t taken the time to play with the look and layout like you have, but I hope to soon! I hope you keep up the fast pace of posting, it’s very impressive!
Hi! I came across your blog while on Facebook and the name got me curious. I like what you’ve done so far! keep up the great work. I think I’m going to try your Potatoes Anna with dinner tonight!

Love your blog! Tried the corned beef with Bud Light! Super delish. Good job on bringing gluten-free noodles to our attention. My friend has a severe allergy and is looking forward to trying them. Looking forward to dinner next week as well. Can’t wait to meet you!
Hey Elizabeth! Isn’t the corned beef soooo yummy? I’m so glad you liked it, and I hope your friend digs the noodles, too. You’ll have to let me know how that turns out. Can’t wait to meet you guys next week!
All – I consider myself a bit of a “foodie” and not only is this blog very well done but I recently had the privilege to taste a meal prepared by Miss Wicked Noodle herself. THIS GIRL CAN COOK! I see big things in the future for her and this blog! And she couldn’t be a nicer person.
Coming from you, that is a serious compliment! It was a tremendous pleasure to finally meet you last night, Angela! You were exactly what I thought you’d be – bright, fun and a joy to be around. There is nothing better in life than good food and great family and friends!
You’re right, Lala, I should really post some more breakfast recipes. I do love that French toast!
Ann, thanks for the nice comments! It means the world to hear that, and I can use a dose of encouragement now and then, so thanks! I’d love for you to share it on your own blog, and please give me a shout and let me know your blog address so I can check it out – kristy@thweickednoodle.com. Have a great day!
The spoons are over 50 years old. I bought them when we were first married so long before you were born Kristy.I love to bake and cook so they were used many times over the years. My Mom brought me a wooden spoon the first time she came to visit and said you won’t want to be without this. It is my favorite and used most every day. Hugs Mom
Hey Kristy! I’m Jolie’s friend in McLean – we’ve met a few times… I am so overwhelmingly impressed by your web site! My gosh – it’s really a good looking web site and I love the content – this is awesome! Jolie is having a girls night and you have to come out for it! I have a ton of questions on how you did this – wow – what a wonderful web site!! I want to hear all about it! She’s really proud of you – I think your ears were burning tonight we were on the phone talking about it!!
Hi Sara! Wow, THANKS for the awesome comments! I’d love to get together with you guys, in fact I was just telling Jolie that I wished I knew her friends better (she’s so awesome that I know her friends must be, too). This site has been an absolute blast and truthfully, it’s comments like yours that really keep me going. Thanks for checking it out – looking forward to seeing you!
hi i was wondering if you new any of the carb counts for your recipes? My son has type 1 diabetes so we have to know the carbs to everything he eats and we luv your recipes. Thanks so much.
Hi, Wicked One! I don’t have the carb counts off hand, but if you’d like to email me which recipes you’d like to make first, I’ll see what I can do to come up with them for you. Drop me a line at kristy@thewickednoodle.com – thanks!
Kristy,
Love the website! Looking for a good dish with pesto for Saturday as my basil plant is getting ginormous! Any ideas?? How cool also that your cousin wrote a book. What a bunch of talented writers in your family!
Thanks, Amy!! For the pesto dish…are you taking it to a July 4th barbecue or just making it at home? Ina Garten has a great Pasta, Pesto and Peas recipe that rocks (and uses quite a bit of pesto so you can really use up some of those basil leaves). You can also place a chicken breast on a piece of foil, add a couple of sliced tomatoes and sliced zucchini, then top with a few tablespoons of pesto; just pop it on the grill! You can just make as many of those as you have people to serve. I’ll send you an email with a few more ideas!
Kristy, You are so creative! Love the doll cakes and sent it to other family members with little girls. Wish I could of been there to celebrate Katie’s 3rd birthday. Great website!
Thanks, Nikki! I had the idea after so many other blogs were so welcoming and generous to me when I was first starting out. Makes it much more fun! So glad you stopped by!
