Hi, I’m Kristy. Thanks so much for stopping by!
This page was recently blown out due to a technical issue (1/19/20). All of the information I’d carefully crafted, gone! Just like that.
So please bear with me while I rebuild it. It will likely be back up within the next week. In the meantime, here’s the bio from my second book, “Cooking from Frozen in Your Instant Pot”. My third and fourth books have since been released as well, and I’m in the process of writing the fifth, out later this year.
Kristy Bernardo is the author of “Weeknight Cooking with your Instant Pot” and the creator of the popular food blog, The Wicked Noodle.
Although mostly self-taught, she has been strongly influenced by her mother and grandmother and honed her skills at boot camp at the Culinary
Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY.
She has owned a successful business as a personal chef, has taught cooking classes to all ages, speaks at conferences and events and has appeared regularly on video and television. Her work as both a food and travel writer has appeared in many mainstream online publications, such as Huffington Post, Food and Wine magazine, Better Homes and Gardens and many more.
Kristy lives in Northern VA with her two daughters, Kylie and Katie, and their two cats, Mr. Pepper and Princess Whiskers. You can most often find her walking or biking the nearby trails, in her kitchen or trying new cocktails at restaurants everywhere.
