Appetizers are my favorite course to cook. After all, who doesn’t love party food?

What are the best appetizers to serve?
No matter what type of gathering, whether it’s the Super Bowl or a Christmas party, try to serve appetizers that will appeal to everyone. For example, you might make Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings and Portobello Fries then balance those out with some hummus and fresh vegetables or some healthy nachos.
Even at holiday parties, you can serve a rich appetizer like Baked Camembert, Hot Crab & Artichoke Dip and Bacon-Wrapped Dates with a few lighter apps, such as Garlic Shrimp or Chimichurri Chicken Bites. The goal is to have something for everyone and balance out the heavy and lighter appetizers.
What are some cheap party food ideas?
If we’re talking individual appetizers, then go for something that will make a lot with cheaper ingredients. Hummus, Cheesy Breadsticks, Baked Potato Wedges, Fried Deviled Eggs, Choriqueso or a Salsa Cheese Ball are all good options.
If your party is a bit more upscale, try some Whipped Goat Cheese with Pepper & Honey, Rumaki, Baked Goat Cheese or Prosciutto & Peaches with a Balsamic Glaze (a little goes a long way)! If you can pick up a log of goat cheese from Costco, you’ll save a lot more than if you pick it up at your local grocer.0
