Happy Monday, all!
I’m super excited for this recipe I’m sharing today! Plum Organics asked me to make a recipe for them using their product and I was definitely up for the task. My youngest daughter LOVES their pureed fruit snacks. It’s made for toddlers but she doesn’t know that and I’m not telling :-)
I wanted to come up with something that I could send with the girls to school for their snack or a dessert with their lunch. But it needed to be healthy and taste good enough that they’d actually want to eat it, too. Cookies seemed the obvious choice since they’re small, quick to make and would possibly freeze well (important for us because how many times have I gone to pack their snacks only to find I’m out!). With fresh apples, dried cherries and orange zest plus the strawberry puree, they’re filled with great flavor, too!
They’re as easy as any cookie recipe you’ve got: just mix the ingredients…
…drop onto ungreased cookie sheets…
…and bake! Couldn’t be easier!
And just in case you’ve never had the pleasure of trying their products, I’m giving away a “Plum Pack” filled with a variety of their goodies plus some coupons so you can go back for seconds for free! Just leave a comment below to enter. Contest will end this Friday, May 11th at midnight EST. Good luck!
Please head on over to the “snacks” tab on the Plum Organics Facebook page for the recipe!
