This Pomegranate & Prosecco Spritzer is a delightfully refreshing drink that’s upscale enough for the holidays yet easy enough for any time.

If you haven’t added prosecco to your regular cocktail rotation, you’re missing out.
Rob and I have been drinking prosecco regularly for a couple years now. It started with Bourbon Mimosas at one of our favorite brunch spots. We’d have a flight every time we went, each in a different flavor.
Now we love prosecco so much that we’ll ask for a glass when we go to dinner. Especially because we’ve been doing the keto diet and prosecco is perfect! Since we already loved it, it was our obvious choice.
Prosecco’s approachable price point has enabled it to evolve from a “special occasion” drink to one that is enjoyed anytime. In fact, the emergence of prosecco “cocktails” – which add bubbles to cocktails – have moved beyond Bellini’s to encompass more creative additions of the wine.
There are so many ways to enjoy it besides the ubiquitous mimosa. This spritzer is a great example. It is similar to a mimosa but the pomegranate juice is more tart than sweet. I love adding pomegranate arils for presentation and a treat when you get to the bottom.
We discovered Riondo Prosecco and it’s our top choice ever since. It’s not only the #1 prosecco in Italy, but it’s a delightful addition to your favorite cocktail, winter or summer. It’s an authentic sparkling wine that embodies the easy living Italian lifestyle without breaking the bank!
This Pomegranate & Prosecco Spritzer is so simple to make. First, you’ll pour in a bit of real pomegranate juice.
Fill your glass with ice. You can leave the ice out if you prefer. Sometimes we’ll serve this drink in champagne flutes and we’ll leave the ice out for that.
Now fill the glass with Riondo Prosecco!
I like to add fresh pomegranate arils, too.
This vino frizzante boasts fresh aromas of Golden Delicious apple, pear, and acacia blossom. Its persistent effervescence is followed by a crisp, clean finish. While delicate and fruity on the palate, this prosecco is the perfect choice to either sip by itself or mix to make a bubbly cocktail. Paired with pomegranate juice, it makes for a wonderful holiday cocktail!
