Candy Apple Snickers Salad has just FIVE ingredients! It's an easy, quick dessert to throw together and can be tailored to your tastes.
I just scarfed down that entire serving of Candy Apple Snickers Salad. I might have been too embarrassed to admit it except that it was sooo good; plus, it has apples in it so it could almost be called breakfast.ย Why do you think I called it a "salad"? That's right...so I can eat some for lunch, too ๐

Why You'll love this Snickers Salad
Easy to Make - This Snickers Salad recipe is so easy to make and has just five ingredients. It's much easier to make than candy apples, too, not to mention it's easier and tastier to eat.
Tastes Amazing - It tastes a sort of like a candy apple but with whipped cream and chocolate thrown in. The texture from the Snickers with the crunchy apple, sweet and salty caramel, and the smoothย whipped cream is heavenly!
Versatile - This is one of those "just throw it all together" recipes, using more or less of certain ingredients as you like. Sometimes more apple is nice so you're still being "good" while other times loading up on the chocolate and caramel seems more the way to go. You can also swap out the Snickers for your favorite candy bar such as Butterfinger or Twix. Snickers Salad is easily adaptable so just go with what you like best; you're sure to hit the mark with this one.

Apple Snicker Salad Ingredients
- Granny smith apples: These apples are perfectly firm, hold up with other toppings and add just the right amount of tartness.
- Snickers candy bars: The star of the show!
- Sugar or Truvia Baking Blend: I have made this with both sugar also used Truviaย Baking Blend in place of sugar to cut down even more on calories; try it out if you're looking to do that, too!
- Heavy whipping cream: The sugar and whipping cream create whipped cream. You can use store bought too.
- Salted caramel sauce: Use store bought or homemade caramel sauce.
How to Make Candy Apple Snickers Salad
To create this amazing Snickers Salad, start by whipping cream and sugar (or Truvia) until stiff peaks form, resulting in a light and airy texture. In a serving dish or individual dishes, layer the freshly whipped cream with crisp apple slices and chunks of Snickers. Then drizzle with salted caramel sauce and garnish with a few snickers pieces.

Snickers pie is DEFINITELY a thing I need to do--it's huge down south and so friggin tasty. Plus I guess maybe it kind of sort of is low carb? Gluten free at least? I'll work on it...

Is it really? That's good to know! I'm not even a huge fan of Snickers but I do love the combo with the apples. So good!

Kirsten says
Kristy,
This apple salad would be an excellent breakfast--much healthier than brownies! (Hey, I love to snag a brownie for breakfast . . . just don't let my kids see me doing it)
I bet the texture of crunchy apples and snickers would also be great with ice cream . . . or maybe even vanilla yogurt . . . since it's 7 degrees out (yet the low for today is supposed to be 30? what's up with that?) and I don't wanna hit the store.
Thank you for inspiring me with these lovely photos!
Kristy Bernardo says
I love those ideas! Ice cream especially but vanilla yogurt would be healthier and still taste delish. Thanks, Kristen!
Marjory @ Dinner-Mom says
I love your logic, and I'm sure my girls would agree, that the apples and protein in the snickers make this "salad" lunch...or breakfast...either way, it's an irresistible combination!
Kristy Bernardo says
Thank you, Marjory!
Joanie @ ZagLeft says
