It’s so early this year though – normally it’s the Labor Day Weekend that is our last pre-school hurrah – and the summer weather isn’t quite ready to fade away just yet. Which is why I was happy to see that Smucker’s agreed and sent me this fun basket filled with ice cream goodies! Here’s what was in the basket:

I decided to make some edible bowls out of chocolate, which is my favorite dessert to make with the girls. We filled them with ice cream and we tested each topping from our basket – my favorite was the hot fudge, followed closely by the warm, melted caramel..oh my, it was delish! The picture below has chocolate mousse in it, but you get the gist of what the bowls looked like. So gorgeous and fun to make!

I'm gonna go with the classic and say I'd love to try the Microwaveable Hot Fudge topping! Mmmm, Autumn is Massachusetts is the PERFECT place to enjoy ice cream with hot fudge!
The caramel topping, dollop of whipped cream w/a smidge of dark chocolate shavings on top of the whipped cream….. YUM !!

I shared on facebook & twitter and cruised the Smuckers site! I also like Strawberries as a ice cream topping…actually anything fruity. After checking out their (smuckers) flavors— I would love to try the apple cinnamon topping and/or the Pecans in syrup.
